Working from life (plein air) out in the landscape instead of working from photos, this original chalk pastel depicts a view from Sam's Knob looking towards Mount Hardy and the backside of the Devil's Courthouse near the Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina.  This painting has a touch of sparkling iridescent pastel for a subtle pop and is matted in a muted medium-dark green matt, ready to frame.  Outside matt dimensions are 8" x 13"
