'Valentin', traditional scale, sculpted by Brigitte Eberl of Germany and produced in bone china bisque by Horsing Around of England.  My client wanted him custom glazed to a deep brown base color that was not entirely black. I added in subtle touches of silvering over his roaned coat, subtle copper and gold metallic to his mane tips, tail tip, back of his feathers, and on his face to make his color rich and luminous in person in ways that my camera can't possibly pick up. Tons of details on this boy - hair pattern, wrinkles, beautiful eyes, the works. Genuine white gold on his claybody custom added shoes, satin glaze. All finishing work by myself, Hyn Patty and fired in my kilns many times to build up the layers.
